Keyboard operation
Interactive controls use native buttons and links with visible focus treatment. Search opens with slash or Control/Command K, Space toggles playback when focus is outside a text field, and Escape closes open panels.
Every signal should be reachable.
RadioRat is designed for keyboard, pointer, and touch use, with adaptable motion, contrast, and data settings.

Motion and visual comfort
RadioRat follows the operating system reduced-motion preference. Decorative globe transitions, animated receiver details, aquarium life, and other ambient effects are removed or reduced. Data Saver provides another low-motion mode.
Contrast and readable controls
A high-contrast preference is available in Settings. Text labels accompany essential controls, themes share semantic color roles, and mobile controls are designed around practical touch targets.
Audio and third parties
Radio programming is supplied by independent broadcasters. RadioRat cannot guarantee that third-party audio includes captions, transcripts, emergency information, or consistent volume levels.
Report a barrier
If something prevents you from using the receiver, include the page or control, browser, device, assistive technology if relevant, and a concise description through the Contact page. Accessibility reports are treated as product defects.
